Farmers Insurance Places $8.7 Million Panagon Order To Enhance Electronic Claims Processing, Customer Service

Monday announced that Los Angeles-based Farmers Insurance Group of Companies has placed an order for $8.7 million of FileNET Panagon(TM) integrated document management (IDM) software to serve as the cornerstone of a revolutionary redesign of its claims processing network.

The Panagon system will serve as the digital document repository at the heart of a new electronic claims processing system. It is designed to enhance agent productivity and customer satisfaction by providing more than 14 million Farmers customers with a single point of contact for handling claims reporting and restoration assistance using essentially a paperless process.
